Jillian Michaels has no problem with showing off her super-toned body, but that doesn’t mean she’s about to use a selfie stick to take a photo of her rear-end. “I’m not into fitness professionals who post selfies that show off their butts or other body parts,” says the cover star of Women’s Health‘s January issue. “Come on, that’s not fitness—it’s softcore porn.”

Part of Jillian’s disdain for the questionable art form is that, as someone who has built an empire from the ground up, she understandably feels very protective of it. “We’ve come so far, and this is where you’re taking the movement? Put your clothes on,” she says. “I get it—you love your body and bravo that—but it’s not fitness. Fitness to me is about empowering people. It’s about redefining self-image.” To see Jillian in all her bold and beautiful brilliance, watch the behind-the-scenes video of her WH cover shoot.
